Lance Turlington
Lance Turlington is an experienced attorney with over 23 years of legal practice. He served as a prosecutor, spent years abroad in national security roles, including three campaigns in Iraq. Lance also served as the senior legal advisor to several multi-star commanders as a senior Army Judge Advocate. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2003, and a Master of Laws in National Security Law in 2011.
As the Managing Member of the Gold Vault Legal Team, Lance is dedicated to helping people protect their assets and secure their legacies through personalized estate planning.
When he isn’t assisting clients, Lance is serving his community. He is actively involved in volunteer work with the Elizabethtown Lions Club, Active Heroes (Shepherdsville), the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 12229 (Bardstown), and the Joseph Holt Home in Breckenridge County.

Treb Courie
Treb is a retired United States Army Judge Advocate with more than twenty four years of experience in military law. Treb has worked and collaborated with Lance since 2002, and served in a wide range of legal roles. Treb has served as a judge, as appellate counsel, and as a prosecutor. He advised commanders and senior leaders on complex legal, ethical, and administrative issues affecting military operations and personnel. Treb deployed three times in support of military operations, including deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.
He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) the Judge Advocate General's School, a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Duke University, and an M.A. and B.A. from Clemson University. He is admitted to practice law in the State of South Carolina.
Charlie Allen
Charlie served with Lance as a Judge Advocate, and has practiced law in Kentucky since 2018. Charlie has served as a military prosecutor, defense attorney, and as an Assistant Gallatin County Attorney. In the greater Owenton area, Charlie practices criminal defense, family law, personal injury, landlord/tenant and military law cases. Charlie will travel to Hardin County for criminal law and military law cases.
Peyton Griffee
Peyton earned his Juris Doctor at the University of Louisville’s Brandeis School of Law. He went on to serve as a prosecutor at the Hardin County Attorney’s Office, where he presided over both jury and bench trials. Peyton is a Judge Advocate in the United States Army Reserve, where he continues to serve. Peyton is a also partner at Sweat and Griffee Law Firm in Shepherdsville, and he serves with Lance on the Board of Directors for Active Heroes, a non-profit retreat for Veterans.
